Excellent service, good communication throughout the service process

Over the course of a 30+ year career in automotive manufacturer Service and Parts, I have observed the full spectrum of independent repair shops. Kaufman’s is a rare, exemplary service facility that we all wish we could depend on. The professionalism, evident during my initial contact, remained consistent, thorough, accurate and clearly empathetic, reflecting an obvious commitment to their guests. The condescending, take it or leave it attitude found far too often in this field, is not something Kaufman’s offers. Instead, you will find respect and concern, with assurance that what you want and need is what they will respectfully provide. Our long, tedious, frustrating and expensive search for a confident relationship with a true repair team has ended. Kaufman’s is where we now have our vehicle serviced.

On my first visit, I felt I needed a front-end alignment, but after road testing the car, I was informed the alignment was OK. I was very impressed with their honesty; other shops might easily take advantage of customers with the same concern. Rodger was super friendly and nice, and I appreciated that very much. I'm definitely a new customer here. And on my second visit, they installed a new battery on my aunt's car, and checked out the charging system in a timely and efficient manner. A big thanks again for another excellent job for me.

Always have a good experience at Kaufman's. Roger, Rhonda & Sabrina are the best. Had an problem that I diagnosed as a starter issue. Stopped in late in the day to talk to Roger and he thought that it could be the battery. I was skeptical, but said he would check the battery and found that it was, in fact, a bad cell in the battery. They squeezed me in to change the battery and I was back on the road. I appreciate their honesty, professionalism, friendliness and willingness to work with their customers. This is the place to go.

We are planning a road trip, so I took my 2004 Toyota Sequoia in to have the tires balanced and rotated. When i asked to have the techs to give it an inspection for our road trip which i would pay for time spent, Kaufman's offered a 30 point inspection at no charge. At most auto shops, such an inspection would trigger at least one repair, needed or not. Kaufman's came back with NO repairs needed, except for a couple of rear light bulbs needing replacing. That is the difference between Kaufman's and the "other guy". That is why I continue to be a loyal customer.
